The XR650R is a legendary dirt bike, being coined with many nicknames such as Dominator and Big Red Pig. As a standard bike, it allows the rider to take advantage of its many strengths, although we thought we could get a little more grunt from the bike. We know just how good it feels to mono out of a corner at the twist of your wrist; this was our aim.
When creating a sports muffler for the Honda XR650R, we wanted a system that complemented the strengths of the bike. Upon fitting a Staintune muffler to your XR650R, you’ll initially notice a big increase in power. The Round Sports Race Muffler for the Honda XR650R results in a 5 horsepower increase from the standard system. The design of the sports muffler uses a 50mm stainless steel straight core to improve bottom torque and make the bike less restrictive.
The rideability of the Honda XR650R is a lot smoother. You will feel a big increase in the bottom end to mid-range. Your XR650R will hook up and drive out of corners a lot better. Throttle response is a lot cleaner from standard.
After fitting a Staintune Round Sports Race Muffler to your XR650R you will have power available at the flick of your wrist.
