Staintune's Kawasaki KLR650 muffler takes your bike to the next level. With a 50mm stainless steel straight core you'll enjoy a 6hp power increase and a noticeable improvement in torque.

We've done this by cleaning up the jetting across the rev range and allowing the engine to breathe to its full potential.

The iconic fully stainless steel construction of the Staintune KLR650 muffler creates a deep, iconic Staintune note. We've designed this muffler with a slip joint to suit our Big Bore Header.

SHIPPING

Delivery & Pickup
You can purchase your Staintune items online and have them delivered to your door or select pick up from our Beresfield office.

Delivery options

  • Australia (Standard) Delivery will take place no more than 2-5 business days after your item is shipped
  • International (Standard) Delivery will take place no more than 7-10 business days after your item is shipped

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Note that delivery times will vary depending on your delivery address.

Pickup
Orders can be collected from the Staintune office in Beresfield, NSW. When your order is ready for collection, you will receive an email with information about how and where to collect your order. Please do not attempt to collect your order prior to receiving this email.

Shipping and delivery estimates
The delivery times above are estimates, actual delivery times vary depending on your location. The order will only ship once all items in your order become available. While we do everything we can to ensure your Staintune products arrive quickly, COVID-19 and recent flooding has disrupted our shipping network greatly.

Changing your delivery address
If you have not yet received an email notifying you that your order is shipped, you can contact our customer service team to change your details on 02 4017 1746.

What happens if my delivery goes missing or is damaged?
If there are any issues with your delivery, please inform us immediately. Staintune will launch an investigation with the courier and make every effort to keep you updated on its progress. Where appropriate, we will offer a replacement.

International Orders
Please note that the customer is responsible for any taxes or duty that may be payable upon entry into the destination country.

Warranty & Returns

WARRANTY

Our Staintune exhausts are designed to provide you with years of enjoyment. Each Staintune Exhaust is covered by a 10-year fitment & finish warranty. Staintune exhausts are warranted against defects in material or workmanship. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the system, which may be proven defective under normal fitment or use.

All warranty claims require proof of purchase. All returns or claims must be accompanied by a completed Staintune Warranty Claim Form and a copy of the purchase invoice. Parts returned without appropriate and complete paperwork may be refused at our receiving docks.

Staintune Australia dealers, motorcycle shops or distributors are not authorised to make a warranty decision binding upon Staintune. Staintune will not be responsible for any labour charges incurred in removing or replacing any system or product under warranty unless it has been evaluated and authorised in writing by Staintune Australia.

Stainless will turn an attractive gold under high operating temperatures. This however will not affect the life or performance of the product and can be polished back at any time in the products life.

All Staintune warranty claims will be processed on arrival. All warranty products must be available for inspection prior to any Staintune fulfilment of warranty obligations.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER 

  • Any system or product that has been abused, neglected, improperly installed and/or modified.
  • Accidents and/or collision are not covered under warranty.
  • Your warranty is voided if the Staintune product is opened or modified by a third-party.

 

RETURN POLICY

Staintune checks all products before they are dispatched for faults or damage. In the event that a fault or damage is overlooked, Staintune will exchange or refund your purchase (excluding shipping costs).

Please contact Staintune within 7 days of purchase should your items be damaged or faulty. We do not give refunds or exchange items if you simply change your mind.

If an item should arrive damaged, or not at all, please contact us.

NOISE COMPLIANCE

For Australia/ New Zealand
All registered vehicles in Australia are required to comply with legislation pertaining to noise.
Staintune Exhaust Systems are supplied with a Stationary Noise Test Information label meet the National Stationary Exhaust Noise Test Procedures for In Service Motor Vehicles as regulated by the National Transport Commission and the National Environmental Protection Council.
For vehicles with a Compliance Date after 1 September 2011, the prescribed noise level is the national standard of ADR 83/00.
For vehicles with a Compliance Date prior to 1 September 2011 the prescribed noise level is the ADR 83/00 signature level plus 5 decibels.

For the USA/Canada 
Staintune Exhaust Systems are supplied with a Stationary Noise Test Information label meet the test requirements of SAE J2825 for On Highway Motorcycles and SAE J1287 for Off Highway Motorcycles. These requirements establish test procedures, conditions, environment and instrumentation for determining the exhaust sound pressure levels of stationary motorcycles.

Important
Most Staintune Mufflers are only compliant with the supplied restrictors in place. Engine wear and induction system modifications may change the outcome of a Stationary Noise Test. It is the users responsibility to maintain and keep the vehicles exhaust system in good working order.
